The European Academy of Mediators (EAM) is dedicated to advancing knowledge, education, learning and research in the field of mediation. EAM provides high-quality products and services in all sectors of mediation: dispute mediation; commerce mediation; family mediation; marital mediation; workplace mediation; community mediation; victim-offender mediation; mediation of controversies related to various issues (medical, school, sport, etc.). EAM also is dedicate to advancing scientific research, both conceptual and empirical, that contribute to an understanding of psychological processes underlying mediation. Areas of research include, but are not limited to, litigants cognitive processes and litigants decision making processes, correlations between mediator's personality traits and mediation style,  mediator's attitude formation and change, litigants reactions to different mediator's communication styles, emotional and cognitive determinants of different mediaror's styles of mediation, cultural and individual differences in reactions (cognitive, emotional, and behavioral) to conflictual situations, and neurofisiolgy of conflict perception and reaction. EAM is a Departement of Leonardo University, the corporate university of KC - Knowledge Consortium.

The European Academy of Mediators (EAM), in partnership with Mediation Science, edits the International Journal of Mediation (IJM), the leading scientific e-journal in the field of mediation and adr, published by Firera & Liuzzo Publishing, a publisher member of KC- Knowledge Consortium.
